Apple Strudel
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 190°C.
Mix the apples with the Hermesetas Granulated, cinnamon, almonds and raisins. Brush a sheet of pastry with some of the low fat spread, sprinkle over about 10 ml (2 tsp) of the fine crumbs then repeat with 3 more layers of pastry, low fat spread and crumbs, omitting the crumbs from the top layer. Spoon a third of the apple mixture down the long side of the pastry then roll. Carefully transfer to a baking tray with the seam underneath. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients making three complete rolls in total. Brush the surface of each with any remaining low fat spread.
Bake the pastry for 20 minutes or until the apples are tender. Trim the ends diagonally then cut each roll into three. Transfer to a wire tray, sprinkle with extra Hermesetas Granulated and leave to cool.
